The Sound of Heaven – by Obii Pax Harry
“O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is your name in all the earth” (Psalm 8:1)
The Lord is an excellent Lord, and His praises shall continue to be on our lips forever. He is great and greatly to be praise. He chose you and purposed for you to be alive today, so give Him praise. Yes, God purposed that you will see the light of today so who can speak against you and it shall come to pass when God has not commanded it?
Before you get into the prophetic message for today, spend time to appreciate how excellent the Lord is. Remind yourself of all the excellent things He has done in your life in the last few days, and as you do so, your faith will rise up to carry the weight of revelation coming to you today. God has specific prophetic sound for every season, and for every time. God’s sound comes to His people to cause their ears to hear and their spirit to respond. Jesus said; “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). Do you hear the voice of the Lord, and do you know Him?
Also in John 10:4 we are informed that when Jesus brings out His sheep He goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow Him; “..for they know His voice.” God’s voice brings forth a sound. The voice of God brings direction and breaks through barriers so His people can follow. Beloved, we are in the day of God’s voice and no matter what you do, it is important as a child of God that you seek to hear the voice of God. When you get up in the morning, call on the Lord and ask Him to cleanse the ears of your spirit so that you can hear His heart.
The days of blind leadership are over! The days when you are expected to follow the leadership of someone who hardly knows where they are going are indeed over. The Spirit of the Lord calls you today to press into the heart of God to hear the sound of His heartbeat. As you do so, your life will never be the same and unnecessary errors will be a thing of the past. May God’s abundant grace lead you in this new way to the glory of His name!
